The second instalment in Mary and Malcolm’s repair story details their pre-construction meeting with the contractor, Milne Construction.
With everybody involved present at the meeting, Milne Construction director James Milne outlines the process for Mary and Malcolm and helps prepare them for the coming steps in their repair. This meeting is an important milestone, providing clarity for Mary and Malcolm and an opportunity to ask any questions they may have before work begins. The Health and Safety induction also takes place at this point, so that everyone involved is aware of potential hazards once the home becomes a construction site. This also ensures that Mary and Malcolm will be well prepared for any visits they may want to arrange with the Construction Manager once the repair work is underway.
